Tahu Telur Bumbu Rujak
spicy fried tahu with eggs


450 gr tahu/tofu
6 eggs
1 sereh (lemon grass)
2 jeruk purut / kaffir lime leaves
250 ml santen
3 tbsp oil

5 red lomboks
3 kemiri (candlenuts)
6 shallots
3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp trasi (shrimp paste)
2 cm laos (galangal)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palmsugar

Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a pan the water and boil the eggs for 8 minutes. Let the eggs cooldown and peel the eggs. Slice the tahu into cubes.
Heat in a wok the oil and fry the bumbu together with the sereh and the jeruk purut for 3 minutes. Add the tahu, the eggs and the santen and let it simmer slowly until it is done and the sauce has thickened.
