Cumi Balado dengan Paprika
stewed squid in sauce

Baha bahan:
750 gr. squid
15 kemangi leaves
2 salam leaf
1 lemongrass
1 bell pepper
7 peteh beans
100 ml chicken stock (see recipe)
1 lime
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
9 shallots
4 cloves garlic
7 red lomboks (large chilies)
10 red rawits
5 kemiri/candle nuts
3 cm jahe (ginger)
1 cm galangal
1/2 tsp kencur (bitterroot)
2 tsp kunyit (turmeric)
Cara membuat:
Sprinkle the squid with lime juice and salt and let it rest for 15 minutes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
Heat in a wok / oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes with the lemongrass and salam. Add the bell pepper and the peteh and fry for a few minutes. Add the squid and the stock and simmer gently. Add the kemangi and let it continue to simmer until everything is cooked.
