Tumis Tempe Kucai
fried tempe with chives
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
300 gr tempeh
5 shallots
3 cloves garlic
3 red chilies
2 cm laos
2 salam leaves
1 tbsp kecap manis
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palmsugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 stalks kucai / Chinese chives
50 ml of water
1 tbsp oil

Cut the tempeh into cubes. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the tempeh golden brown and set aside. Slice the shallots and the garlic into thin slices. Cut the chilies into slanting pieces. Grate the Laos. Cut the kucai into pieces.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the shallots, garlic, chilies, the laos and the salam for 4 minutes. Add the tempeh and mix. Then add the kecap, salt, palm sugar and the pepper and mix well. Then add the water and stir until the liquid has almost evaporated. Spoon in the chives and serve.
