Sayur Bening Udang
spicy fresh and sour stewed shrimp/prawns

500 gr tiger prawns
875ml water
1 tbsp lime juice
7 belimbing wuluh
1/2 tsp salt
5 jeruk purut leaves

7 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
15 red rawits
5 cm kunyit
5 cm jahe
1/2 tbsp asam sunti

Cara membuat:
Clean and peel the shrimp/pranws but leave the tail on. Rub the shrimp in the lime juice and salt and let it rest for 15 minutes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat 125 ml water in a pan together with the bumbu and the jeruk purut and bring to the boil. Then add the prawns and cook until the liquid is halved. Then add the rest of the water and bring to the boil. Then add the belimbing and cook until done. serve.
