Garang Asem Tongkol
spicy steamed tuna

300 gr tuna
1 lime, juice
200ml water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp palm sugar
1 tsp pepper
8 red rawits
8 green rawits
5 green tomatoes
5 belimbing wuluh/star fruit
5 salam leaf
5 cm lengkuas/laos/galangal
5 cm jahe/ginger
1 serai/sereh/lemon grass, white part

4 shallots
5 cloves of garlic

Cara membuat:
Cut the tuna into pieces and mix with the lime juice. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Finely chop the lengkuas, the jahe and the serai. Cut the tomatoes into wedges. Roughly chop the red rawits. Cut the belimbing into slices.
Mix the bumbu with the water, salt, palm sugar and pepper. Then mix in the tuna, the rawits, the tomatoes, the belimbing, the salam, the lengkuas, the jahe and the serai.
Pour the mixture into a bowl/dish and steam for 30 minutes until done. Serve.
