Hung Shiu Doong Gwoo
mushrooms braised in soy sauce
Ingredients:
125 gr dried shiitake mushrooms
1000ml water
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp palm sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
4 tbsp oil
Preparation:
Soak the mushrooms in the water for 30 minutes. Then drain the mushrooms. Reserve 375 ml of the liquid and mix it with the soy sauce, palm sugar and sesame oil.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the mushrooms for 3 minutes until brown. Then add the sauce and bring to a boil. Then simmer on low heat and covered for another 30 minutes until the liquid has been absorbed. serve.
