Yam Talay
seafood salad
Ingredients:
150 gr crab meat
150 gr squid
50 gr mussels
50 gr fish fillet
100 gr shrimps / prawns
4 tbsp nam pla (fish sauce)
5 tbsp lime juice
10 red rawits (small chilies)
10 green rawits
1 tsp melted palmsugar
3 stalks sereh / lemongrass
2 shallots
1 tomato
20 gr Chinese celery
4 spring onions
water
Preparation:
Heat in a wok the water and blanch the seafood shortly until its cooked then drain. Mix it together. Chop the rawits fine and slice the white of the sereh thin. Slice the tomato into thin parts. Cut the spring onions into 3 cm long pieces and chop the celery roughly. Slice the shallots thinly.
Mix the nam pla, the lime juice, the pamsugar and the rawits and pour the suce over the seafood and mix it. Then add the sereh, the shallots, the tomato, the celery and the spring onions and mix it well and serve.
