Gang Khee Lage Gar Doog Mu
Bitter ribs

500 gr pork ribs
100 gr bi khee lage (thai vegetable, canned)
400 ml thin coconut milk (santen cair)
3 cloves garlic
6 red rawits (chilies)
1 tbsp red curry paste (see recipe)
125 ml water
4 tbsp fish sauce (nam pla)
2 tbsp palmsugar
4 tbsp oil

Pound the garlic, the rawits and the red curry into a paste. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the ribs golden brown. Then add the coconut milk and add the paste. Stir well. Add the water, the bi khee lage, the fish sauce and the suger and let it simmer slowly until the ribs are cooked.
