tofu, tempe and shrimps in spicy sauce

450 gr tahu/tofu
450 gr tempe
2 spring onions
3 belimbing wuluh (sour starfruit)
3 red lomboks
3 green lomboks (large chilies)
4 cm laos / galangal, crushed
200 ml water
3 jerut purut / kaffir lime leaves
150 gr small peeld shrimps
200 ml santen asli (thick coconut milk)

3 candlenuts
1 tsp ketumbar (coriander)
1/2 tsp sugar
6 shallots
4 cloves garlic
7 red rawits (small chilies)
3 cm kencur (bitter root)

Cara membuat;
Cut the tahu and tempe into cubes. Cut the spring onions in 3 cm long pieces and the belimbing into thin slices. Cut the lomboks into large pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Heat in a wok the water and add the tahu, the tempe, the bumbu, the laos and the jerut purut and let it boil for 5 minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients and let it simmer slowly for 8 minutes.
