Tempe Kecap Jeruk Limau
tempeh with a kecap lime sauce

300 gr tempeh
4 tbsp kecap manis
3 limes, juice
2 shallots
2 cloves of garlic
1 red lombok
1 salam leaf
1 serai / sereh / lemongrass
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp palm sugar
150 ml of water

Cara membuat:
Cut the tempe into strips of 1x3cm. Heat in a pan plenty of oil and fry the tempe golden brown and set aside.
Cut the shallots, the garlic and the lombok into thin slices. Heat in a pan 2 tbsp oil and fry the shallots, the garlic, the lombok, the sereh and the salam for 4 minutes. Then add the tempe and mix well. Then add the kecap, the salt, the pepper and the palmsugar and mix well. Then add the water and cook until tender. Then spoon in the lime juice and serve.
