Sayur Oyong Katuk
stewed cucumber with carrot in sauce

2 bunches of katuk / sayur manis (sauropus androgynus)
1 wing cucumber (oyong)
1 carrot
1200 ml of water
3 cloves of garlic
2 shallots
1 temu kunci
2 red lomboks
2 tsp salt
2 tsp palmsugar

1 tbsp bawang goreng

Cara membuat:
Cut the cucumber into pieces and the carrot into slices. Cut the shallots and the garlic into thin slices. Cut the lomboks into thin rings.
Heat the water in a pan and add the shallots, the garlic, the temu kunci, the lomboks, the salt and the palmsugar and bring to the boil. Then add the cucumber and the carrot and cook it nearly done. Then add the katuk and cook until. Sprinkle the bawang goreng on top and serve
