Labu Masak Teri
chayote in spicy sauce

1 labu siam / chayote
1/2 block tahu/tofu
50 gr ikan teri nasi
7 peteh beans
300 ml of coconut milk
2 salam leaves
2 cm galangal
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
4 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp shrimp paste
3 red chilies
1 tsp ketumbar
3 cm kunyit
Cara membuat:
Cut the chayote julienne and halve the peteh beans. Cut the tofu into cubes and fry them in oil until golden brown. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Grate the galangal.
Heat in a pan the coconut milk with the paste, the salam and galangal and bring to a boil. Then add the chayote, the tahu, the ikan teri, the peteh beans, the salt and palm sugar and cook gently until tender.
