Gulai Buluh Udang
Shrimp with bamboo curry

500 gr shrimps
500 gr bamboo shoot
500 ml coconut water
20 peteh beans (stinkbeans)
4 cherry tomatoes
500 ml cocnut milk
4 tbsp oil

4 shallots
5 cloves garlic
3 cm laos (galangal)
3 cm kunyit (turmeric)
1 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Cut the bammboo shoot into thin slices and cook it with the coconut water until done. Halve the peteh beans and the tomatoes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat in a wok the oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the shrimps and the bamboo and fry it for 1 minute. Then add the coconut milk and let it cook slowly untiol the sauce is a bit reduced. Add the petehbeans and the tomatoes and let it cook slowly until done, then serve.
