Asam Padeh Ikan Patin
stewed fish in a spicy sauce
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
500 gr ikan patin/pike
1 lime, juice
1 serai/sereh/lemon grass
1 cm jahe/ginger
1 cm lengkuas/laos
1 kunyit leaf
4 asam kandis
11 red rawits
4 green tomatoes
500ml water
oil
Haluskan:
bumbu:
5 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
5 red lomboks
1 cm kunyit
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Clean the fish and rub it with the lime juice and let it rest for 15 minutes. Then rinse. Cut the fish into slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Cut the tomatoes into cubes.
Heat in a pan some oil and fry the bumbu together with the serai, the jahe, the lengkuas and the kunyit leaf for 5 minutes. Then add the fish and fry until it changes color.
Then add the asam kandis, the tomatoes and the rawits and mix well. Then add the water and cook until the fish is tender and the sauce thickens. Serve.
