Ikan Gulai Masin

Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
400 gr mackerel
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp lime juice
750 ml coconut milk (from 1/2 coconut)
2 serai/sereh/lemon grass, white part
1/2 kunyit leaf
6 jeruk purut leaves
2 cm lengkuas/laos
3 red lomboks
1 asam kandis
Haluskan:
bumbu:
5 shallots
3 cloves of garlic
2 cm kunyit
2 cm jahe
1/3 tsp salt
2 red rawits
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Cut the fish into slices. Halve the lomboks lengthwise. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Rub the fish with the salt and lime juice and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Heat in a pan the coconut milk together with the bumbu, the serai, the jeruk purut, the laos and the kunyit leaf and bring it to the boil over medium heat, while stirring.
Then add the lomboks and the asam kandis and mix well. Then when the coconut milk thickens, add the fish and cook the fish over low heat until done. When the oil separates, serve.
