steamed spiced mussels
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
500 gr kerang hijau / perna viridis, otherwise mussels without shell
1/2 lime, juice
1/2 coconut, grated
6 belimbing sayur
8 red rawits
banana leaf
Haluskan:
bumbu:
5 shallots
3 cloves of garlic
3 cm of lengkuas / galangal
1/2 tsp terasi / trasi
1 cm kencur
1 serai / sereh / lemongrass, white part
2 jeruk purut leaves
1 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Clean the mussels and remove the stomach contents. Drizzle the mussels with the lime juice. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the belimbing and the rawits into thin slices. Mix the mussels, the bumbu, the belimbing, the coconut and the rawits well.
Divide the mixture into 4-5 portions and wrap in banana leaf tum wise and secure with biteng. Steam the tums for 45 minutes until done and serve.
