fried fish with red sauce from Gorontalo

500 gr ikan bandeng/milkfish else salmon or snapper
1 lime, juice
3 shallots
2 tomatoes
1 cm lengkuas / galangal
1 tsp salt

3 cloves of garlic
1 cm lengkuas / galangal
7 red lomboks

Cara membuat:
Clean the fish and rub it in with half of the lime juice and salt and let it rest for 30 minutes. Then cut the fish into slices. Cut the shallots into thin slices and grate the laos. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan of oil and fry the fish until brown and cooked and set aside. Heat 3 tbsp of the used oil and fry the shallots and the laos for 3 minutes. Then add the bumbu and fry for 5 minutes. Then add the tomatoes and fry until soft. Mix in the rest of the lime juice and the fried fish and serve.
