spicy prawns from Kalimantan

1250 ml water
500g large shrimp/prawns
5 cloves garlic
5 shallots
4 jeruk purut
1 tbsp asemwater
5 red chilies
5 red rawits
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon shrimp paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
Cara membuat:
Clean the prawns. Slice the shallots and the garlic into thin slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat in a pan the water and add the heads and skin of the shrimp and cook until there is 1000ml broth. Strain the broth. Bring the broth to a boil and add the garlic, shallots, jeruk purut and the paste and cook it for 5 minutes. Add the prawns and the asem water and cook until the pranws are done. Spoon the shrimp out and serve.
