Abon Sapi

500 gr. stewing beef
1.5 tsp ground jinten (cumin)
3 tsp ketumbar (coriander)
2 tsp gula jawa (palmsugar)
2 shallots
2 tsp lime juice
3 cloves of garlic
3 tbsp oil
100 ml santen asli (thick coconut milk)
1/3 tsp laos (galangal)
2 salam leaves
250 ml of water

Cara membuat:
Put the meat in a pan with water and cook it slowly for 2,5 hours until tender. Remove the meat and shred it. Chop the shallots and the garlic fine. Mix the meat with the shallots, the garlic, the ketumbar, the jinten, the laos, the palmsugar, the lime juice and the salt.
Heat in a wok the oil fry the mixture for 5 minutes, add the coconut milk water and salam leaves and let it simmer until almost all the liquid has evaporated. Remove the salam leaves before serving.
