Abon Sampi
Boiled and crushed beef
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
1000 gr beef
250 ml water
5 salam leaves
300 ml thick coconut milk (santen asli)
6 shallots
150 ml of oil
haluskan:
bumbu:
5 cloves garlic
5 red lomboks (spanish peppers)
2 tsp. ketumbar
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. gula jawa (palm sugar)
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Heat in a pan the water and add the meat and the salam leaves and cook it gently for 90 minutes. Then drain the water. Add add the coconut milk and cook the meat until the coconut milk is evaporated. Let it cool and then cut the meat into small pieces and crush/flatten it.
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the paste. then add the meat and fry its brown and crunchy.
