1000 gr beef
1000 ml water
8 potatoes
1 bunch paksoy 
1/2 green cabbage
5 onions
1 head garlic
4 tbsp fishsauce
1 red lombok
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 tbsp oil

Cut the meat and the potatoes into cubes. Slice the lombok, the onions and the garlic fine. Cut the paksoy and the cabbage into coarse pieces. 
Heat in a wok the oil and fry the garlic and the onions for 3 minutes. Add the water, the meat, the salt, the lombok and the fishsauce and let it simmer for 1 hour. Then add the potatoes and let it simmer slowly until the potatoes are nearly cooked. Add the cabbage and th paksoty and cook it for a few minutes. Mix in the salt and pepper ander serve.
