liver in a spicy coconutmilk sauce

500 gr beef liver
500 ml santen (coconutmilk)
1 kunyit leaf (turmeric)
1 sereh (lemongrass)
3 jeruk purut / kaffir lime leaves
2 asam gelugor (carcinia)

6 red lomboks
7 cm laos (galangal)
3 cm jahe (ginger)
4 cm kunyit (turmeric)
8 shallots
2 tsp ketumbar (coriander)
1/2 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Cut the liver into pieces. Roast the ketumbar dry in a skillet. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a wok the santen and add the bumbu, the sereh, the kunyit leaf, the jerut purut and the asam gelugor and let is cook slowly until the sauce starts to thicken. Add the liver and let it simmer slowly until the liver is cooked and the sauce has thickened.
