Pindang Daging Belitung
seasoned stewed beef

500 gr beef
7 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
5 cm lengkuas/laos/galangal
2 cm kunyit
1 serai/sereh/lemon grass, white part
5 cm jahe
1 1/2 tbsp palm sugar
1 tsp asam jawa + 1 tbsp water
1 star anise
5 cloves
2 tbsp kecap manis
300ml water
4 tbsp butter
3 tbsp oil

1 tsp pepper
1/2 nutmeg
3 cm cinnamon
1 cardamom
2 tbsp ketumbar
1 tsp salt
1 mace

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into 2 cm thick slices. Cut the shallots, garlic, lengkuas, kunyit and jahe into thin slices. Finely chop the serai. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan with 1 tbsp of butter and fry the shallots, garlic, lengkuas, kunyit, serai, jahe and bumbu for 5 minutes.
Mix it in a bowl with the meat, butter, palm sugar, asam water, star anise, cloves and kecap and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat in a pan the water and add the meat with the marinade and cook the meat until tender. serve.
