Pindang Daging Masrani
Fragrant beef stew from Kalimantan

500 gr beef
4 cloves of garlic
5 shallots
4 red lomboks
2 cm jahe
1 sereh / lemon grass, white part
2 cm kunyit
1/2 tea salt
1 teaspoon of palm sugar
500 ml of water
2 tablespoons of oil

Cara Membuat:
Cut the meat into 1cm thick slices. Cut the garlic, the shallots and the jahe into thin slices. Cut the lomboks into slanted rings. Roast the Kunyit dry in a pan and then grate it.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the garlic, shallots, chilies, the jahe, the lemongrass and kunyit for 4 minutes. Add the meat and fry for 2 minutes. Then add the salt, the palm sugar and the water and slowly cook until done.
