Sie Asam Pedah (Aceh Selatan)
spicy stewed beef

500 gr beef
9 shallots
50 gr asam sunti
50 gr grated coconut, roasted and pureed
1 lime, juice
200 ml of water

1 tbsp ketumbar
6 cloves of garlic
8 red lomboks, pitted
5 red rawits
8 cm jahe / ginger
8 cm lengkuas / galangal
5 cm kunyit
1 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into pieces. Cut the shallots into thin slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
While squeezing, mix the meat with the shallots and the asam sunti. Then rub the meat with the bumbu and let it marinate for 10 minutes. Then mix in the coconut.
Heat a pan and add the seasoned meat along with the water and cook the meat over medium heat until done. Then mix in the lime juice and cook it until the sauce has thickened. Serve.
