Javanese stewed meat in dark sauce

1/2 nutmeg
7 tbsp kecap manis
600 ml of water
2 tbsp oil

4 shallots
3 cloves of garlic
4 kemiri nuts

Cut the meat into thin slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu together with the cloves and nutmeg for 5 minutes. Then add the meat and fry until it changes color.
Then add the kecap and water and cook the meat slowly until tender. Sprinkle the bawang goreng on top and serve.
