Tulang Sapi Masak Kecap
spare ribs with kecap marinade

750 gr spare ribs (beef)
1500 ml of water
3 serai / sereh / lemongrass
3 salam leaf
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp salt

3 tbsp kecap manis
1 tbsp kecap asin
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp oil

3 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
2 cm jahe

Cara membuat:
Heat the water in a pan together with the ribs, serai, salam, pepper, palm sugar and salt and cook the ribs until nearly done and set aside. Store 100 ml of the broth. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu for 4 minutes. Then add the kecaps and the pepper and mix well. Then add the broth and bring to the boil. Marinate the ribs with this for at least 75 minutes.
Then roast the ribs over a charcoal fire until done and baste it regularly with the marinade. Serve.
