Daging Masak Kecap
beef in a kecap sauce

300 gr beef (shank)
1000 ml of water
5 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
1 star anise
3 cloves
2 cm cinnamon
2 tbsp kecap manis
2 tsp kecap asin
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp asam water
2 tbsp oil

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into cubes and the shallots and the garlic into thin slices
Heat the water in a pan with the meat and cook until tender. Keep 500 ml broth. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the shallots, garlic, star anise, cloves and cinnamon for 5 minutes. Then add the meat and mix well.
Then add the kecaps, salt and pepper and mix well. Then pour in the broth and the asam water and cook until everything is done and the sauce has thickened.
