Gulai Gajebo Daging Sapi
Stewed beef in spicy sauce

400 gr beef shank
4 jeruk purut
1500 ml of water
2 sereh / lemongrass, white part
1 tsp palm sugar
1 tsp asamwater
2 cm laos
2 salam leaves
1 tsp salt
300 ml coconut milk
2 tbsp oil

7 shallots
4 red lomboks
2 cm kunyit
1 cm jahe
4 cloves of garlic

Cara Membuat:
Heat in a pan the water together with the meat and cook until the meat is 3/4 cooked. Spoon the meat out of the pan and cut into 8 slices. Measure 1200 ml of broth. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu together with the sereh, the jeruk purut, the laos and the salam for 4 minutes. Add the broth and bring to the boil. Add the meat with the coconut milk, salt, palm sugar and asamwater and mix well. Slowly cook until the meat is done and the sauce has thickened.
