Semur Daging Sedap

500g beef (shank)
6 shallots
2 salam leaves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 clove
2 cm cinnamon
4 tbsp kecap manis
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palmsugar
1000 ml water
2 tbsp oil

6 candlenuts
5 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
1 tsp ketumbar
1/4 tsp jinten

Cut the meat into pieces and the shallots into thin slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the bumbu with the shallots and the salam for 4 minutes. Add the meat and fry it lightly. Add the nutmeg, cloves, the cinnamon, the kecap, salt and the palm sugar and mix well. Then, add the water while stirring and cook slowly until done. Sprinkle the bawang goreng on top and serve.
