Daging Bakar Kari
grilled seasoned beef

400g breastplate (beef)
300 coconut milk
1 tsp masala
2 jeruk purut
1 lemongrass stalk
1 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 tsp palm sugar
14 skewers
7 shallots
5 cloves garlic
3 candlenuts
2 cm jahe
Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into 14 pieces of 7x2 cm. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Mix the santen with masala, the jeruk purut, the bumbu, salt, pepper, palm sugar and lemongrass. Heat this in a pan with the meat and cook slowly until the meat is nearly done.
Put the meat on the skewers and grill over a charcoal fire until golden brown. Brush the meat frequently with sauce during grilling.
