Sambal Goreng Daging Kemangi
spicy braised beef with kemangi

350g beef
2 salam leaves
2 red chilies
2 tsp salt
2 tsp palm sugar
1 tbsp asemwater
5 sprigs kemangi
500ml coconut milk
2 tablespoons oil
5 shallots
4 cloves garlic
5 red chilies
1/2 tsp shrimp paste
1 cm kunyit
2 cm laos
1 tomato
Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into pieces. Pitted the chilies and chop finely. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a creamy paste.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the paste with the salam for 4 minutes. Add the chilies and fry for 1 minute. Add the meat and fry it briefly brown. Add the coconut milk, salt, palm sugar and asemwater and cook the meat until tender and the sauce has thickened. Spoon in the kemanigi leaves and cook for 1 minute. Serve.
