braised beef in creamy coconut milk sauce

Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
500 gr beef
1 lemongrass
2 salam
4 jeruk purut
150 ml santen asli
3 tablespoons oil
250 ml water
 
Haluskan:
bumbu:
5 shallots
3 cloves garlic
3 red chilies
2 kemiri /candlenuts
5 cm laos
2 tsp ketumbar
2 cm kunyit
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tsp salt
 
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Cut the meat into pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes with the lemongrass, the salam and jerut purut. Add the meat and cook until browned. Then add the water and let simmer gently until the meat is nearly done. Add the santen and let it simmer until cooked and the sauce has thickened.
