Lapis Palaro
spiced beef

400g beef fillet 
700 ml of water
2 tsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
oil for frying
4 shallots
3 cloves of garlic
5 red lomboks
2 cm jahe
5 cm kencur
3 cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp jinten
1/2 tsp ketumbar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat water in a pan and add the meat and bumbu and cook until the meat is cooked. Remove the meat from the pan and allow the fluid to thicken so theres 250ml left and mix with the cornstarch to make a sauce.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat until brown. Pour the sauce over the meat and serve.
