Chicken curry in coconutsauce

450 gr chicken
2 tsp salt
3 shallots
4 cloves garlic
3 tbsp oil
1 tbsp coriander
1 cm ginger
1 lemongrass
450 ml coconut milk
1 salam leaf

Slice the garlic and the shallots fine. Rasp the ginger and crush the lemongrass. Cut the meat in bite-size pieces and rub it in with the salt. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the shallots and the garlic for 3 minutes. Then add the coriander, the lemon grass and the ginger and fry it for 1 minute. Then add the chicken and have it fry for 5 minutes. Then add the salam leave and the coconut milk and let it simmer for 35 minutes, then serve.
