stewed chicken in dark sour sauce
250 gr chicken
400 ml coconut milk (of 1/2 coconut)
5 belimbing wuluh
4 salam leaf
3 cm lengkuas / galangal
3 kluwak / keluak
4 cloves of garlic
2 red lomboks
Cut the meat into small pieces. Cut the belimbing into thin slices. Pound or grind the kluwak fine. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the coconut milk in a pan together with the meat and the bumbu and bring to the boil. Then add the kluwak, the salam, the laos and the belimbing and cook on low heat until done.
