chicken stew with cabbage

1 chicken
1/2 Chinese cabbage
5cm kunyit
2 stalks lemongrass
5 tsp salt
1 tbsp palm sugar
2000 ml of water
1 tbsp asem (tamarind)
2 tablespoons oil
7 shallots
3 nuts kemiri
5 cloves garlic
3 red chilies
1 tsp ketumbar
1/2 tsp jinten
1 teaspoon shrimp paste
Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 12 pieces. Roast the kunyit and cut into thin slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the cabbage into pieces.
Heat in a pan the water and add the chicken and bring to a boil. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the paste with the kunyit and lemongrass for 5 minutes and put it with the chicken and stir. Then add the cabbage, salt, the palm sugar and the asem and cook gently until tender.
