Semur Ayam Bakar
fried chicken in a spicy fragrant sauce

1/2 chicken
1/2 lime, juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 nutmeg
4 cloves
2 salam leaves
2 cm lengkuas / galangal
500 ml of water
5 tbsp kecap manis
2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp oil
2 tbsp bawang goreng

5 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
2 kemiri nuts
1 tbsp ketumbar
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into pieces and rub it with the lime juice and salt. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu together with the nutmeg, cloves, salam and galangal for 5 minutes. Then add the chicken, water and kecap and cook the chicken until done. Remove the chicken from the pan.
Roast the chicken over a charcoal fire until brown and baste it regularly with the butter. Sprinkle the bawang goreng on top of the chicken and serve it with the sauce.
