Semur Ayam
spiced chicken in delicious sauce

1 chicken
4 cloves garlic
7 shallots
2 salam leaves
3 cloves
3 cm cinnamon
1 lemongrass stalk
5 tbsp kecap manis
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
800 ml water
3 tablespoons oil
4 cloves garlic
2 red rawits
2 cm jahe
1 tsp ketumbar
1/2 tsp jinten
Cara mambuat:
Cut the chicken into 8 pieces. Cut the garlic and the shallots into thin slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the shallots and garlic for 5 minutes. Then add the chicken along with the salam, lemongrass, clove, cinnamon and the paste and mix well. Then add the kecap, salt and pepper and mix. Add the water and continue cook gently until the chicken is done.
