Asam Padeh Ayam
spicy stewed chicken in a light sourly sauce

1 chicken
5 belimbing wuluh or 4 asam kandis
1 tsp palm sugar
2 cm lengkuas / galangal / laos
3 jeruk purut leaves
1 kunyit leaf
2 serai / sereh / lemongrass
500 ml of water
5 tbsp oil

7 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
10 red lomboks
6 kemiri nuts, roasted
2 cm jahe
3 cm kunyit
2 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 8 pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu for 5 minutes. Then add the water, the serai, the kunyit leaf, the jeruk purut, the laos, the palmsugar and the asam kandis and cook until the sauce thickens.
Then add the chicken and cook until the chicken is done and the sauce is thickened.
