chicken stew with sweet sauce from Medan

4 chicken thights / 7 drumsticks
2 tsp lime juice
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp oil
3 shallots
1 tomato
5 red dried chili peppers
5 cloves
3 cm of cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
6 tbsp kecap manis
400 ml coconut milk

5 cloves of garlic
4 kemiri nuts
3 cm jahe

Cara membuat:
Rub the chicken in the lime juice, pepper and salt and leave it for at least 15 minutes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Cut the shallots and the tomato into thin slices.
Heat in a pan of oil and fry the chicken brown but not done and set aside.
Then add the shallots and fry them until translucent. Then add the bumbu and tomato and fry for 3 minutes. Then add the chicken together with the chillies, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, pepper and kecap and mix well.
Then add the coconut milk and bring to the boil. Then continue to simmer on low heat until done and the sauce has thickened.
