Ayam Bakar Solo
roasted chicken from Solo

1 chicken / 8 drumsticks
4 tbsp kecap manis
4 Salam leaves
800 ml of coconut water
2 tbsp oil
3 shallots
7 garlic cloves
5 cm jahe
6 cm laos
2 sereh stalks
6 kemiri/candle nuts
2 tsp ketumbar
2 cm kunyit
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp jinten
Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 8 pieces or use drumsticks. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the paste and salam for 4 minutes. Add the chicken and fry for 2 minutes. Add the kecap and coconut water and bring to a boil. Then cover the pan and simmer until the chicken is tender and the sauce has thickened.
Roast the chicken over a charcoal fire until brown.
