Ayam Bakar Sunda
Sundanese grilled/roasted chicken

20 drumsticks
750 ml water
2 sereh/lemongrass
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tsp palmsugar
3 cm kunyit
4 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
4 kemiri/candlenuts
3 cm jahe
2 cm galangal
Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Heat in a pan the water with the bumbu, the lemongrass, salt, pepper and palm sugar. Add 10 drumsticks and let it slowly cook for 1 hour. Remove the drumsticks from the pan and drain it well and dry. Repeat with the remaining 10 drumsticks.
Roast the drumsticks above a charcoal fire until brown. Sprinkle the drumsticks during roasting if necessary with some oil.
