Tumis Tahu Kacang Mete
Fried tofu with cashew nuts


Bahan-bahan:
Ingredients:
2 block s/eggs tahu/tofu
500 gr cornstarch
3 cloves garlic
2 cm jahe (ginger)
2 tbsp sambal badjak (see recipe)
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp kecap manis
½ tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 spring onion
1 onion
100 gr fried cashew nuts
oil

Cara membuat:
Preparation/method:
Slice the garlic, the onion and the spring onion fine. Slice the bell pepper in strips Slice the tahu into large cubes and coat them with the cornstarch. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the tahu golden brown and remove them. Pour out the oil but leave 2 tbsp behind. Fry the garlic for 2 minutes and add the jahe, the sambal, the kecap , the honey, the salt, and the pepper. Add then the bell pepper, the spring onion and the onion and fry it shortly.
