Bali Tahu - fried tahu/tofu in red sauce

Bali Tahu
fried tahu/tofu in red sauce
Bahan-bahan;
ingredients:
500 gr tahu/tofu
5 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp water
oil
Bahan-bahan saus:
ingredients sauce:
6 red lomboks
3 cloves garlic
2 tomatoes
2 shallots
2 cm jahe (ginger)
125 ml coconutmilk
1 sereh (lemongrass)
2 tsp palmsugar
3 tbsp water
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
Taburan:
garnish:
2 tbsp bawang goreng (fried shallots)
Cara membuat::
preperation:
Cut the tahu int small cubes. Pound or grind the garlic, the salt and the water into a smooth paste. Marinate the tahu with the paste for 15 minutes. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the tahu until golden brwon, then drain.
Pound or grind the lomboks, the jahe, de garlic, the tomatoes and the shallots into a paste. Mix in the water. Heat in a wok the oil and add the sauce and the sereh and let it simmer slowly for 5 minutes. Then add the coconutmilk, the palmsugar and the tahu and let it simmer 5 minutes more. Add the salt and garnish it with the bawang goreng and serve.
