Tahu Bumbu Rujak
fried spicy tahu/tofu


450 gr tahu/tofu
125 ml santen asli (thick coconut milk)
1 red lombok (large chili)
2 red rawits (small chilies)
1 kemiri (candlenut)
1/2 tsp palmsugar
1 tsp asem (tamarind)

Cara membuat:
Cut the tahu into cubes. Deseed the lombok and slic it with the rawits fine. Pound or grind the kemiri. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the tahu semi done and remove it from the wok. Pour out the oil but leave 2 tbsp behind. Fry the lombok and the rawits together with the kemiri for 1 minute. Then add the palmsugar and the asem. Add the tahu. Then add the santen and let it slowly cook until all liquids have nearly evaporated.
