Tempe Bakar Bumbu Kacang
baked/fried tempe stewed in peanut sauce

350 g tempe
1 salam leaf
3 jeruk purut leaves
2 tbsp kecap manis
60 ml thick coconut milk (kental)
3 tbsp oil

2 shallots
3 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp peanuts
1/2 tsp ketumbar
3 red lomboks
1/2 tsp terasi / trasi
1 tsp palm sugar

Cara membuat:
Cut the tempe into cubes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes together with the salam and the jeruk purut. Then add the coconut milk and the kecap and bring to the boil while stirring.
Then add the tempe and cook until the moisture has evaporated. Then fry or roast the tempe until golden brown. Serve
