Semur Tahu Tempe
spicy stew of tofu and tempe

400 gr tempe
8 tahu kulit (fried tofu cut into triangles)
2 salam leaves
2 sereh/lemongrass
1 cm jahe
1 cm galangal
1 red tomato
7 tbsp kecap manis
2 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1200 ml of water
2 tbsp oil
5 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
5 candlenuts
Cara membuat:
Cut the tempeh into slices and the tomato into small wedges. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu with the salam, the laos, the jahe and lemongrass for 4 minutes. Add the tomato and cook gently. Add the tahu and tempe and mix well.
Add the kecap, salt and nutmeg. Then add the water and cook the whole slowly until done and until the sauce has thickened.
