fried soybean cake with spicy sauce
250 gr tempe (fermented soybean cake)
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
6 tbsp oil
2 lomboks (long chili peppers)
1/4 tsp trassi bakar (shrimp paste)
Cut the tempe in slices. Cut the garlic very fine and mix it with the salt. Rub the tempe in withe the mixture. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the tempe in 3 minuten golden brown. Pound the ingredients for the sauce fine into a paste. Serve the tempe with the sauce.
