Tahu gimbal
tofu with shrimp

1 block tahu/tofu
100 ml of water
1/2 tsp salt
100 gr cabbage
2 stalks celery
Bahan-bahan gimbal:
ingredients for shrimp:
300 gr prawns, peeled
150 gr flour
25 gr of rice flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
2 eggs, beaten
150 ml water
Bahan-bahan sauce:
Sauce ingredients:
2 red rawits
1 tsp petis
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp salt
30 gr peanuts
2 tsp kecap manis
2 tsp asam
75 ml of water
2 tbsp bawang goreng
krupuk / shrimp crackers
Cara membuat:
preparation :
Cut the tofu into cubes, slice the cabbage very thin and celery into thin slices . Roast the peanuts and ground it fine. Mix the salt with the water and mix it with the tahu and leave for 5 minutes. Heat in a wok / wadjan the oil and fry the tahu until done and let it drain.
Mix the flour with the salt, pepper and water to a paste and stir in the eggs and prawns/shrimp. Heat in a wok / wadjan the oil and fry the shrimp/prawns until golden brown and drain .
Pound or grind the rawits, the garlic, the palm sugar and salt fine and mix in the peanuts, the kecap, the asam and the water into a sauce.
Make a bed of cabbage and scoop on the tahu and shrimps and pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle with bawang goreng and celery and serve with crackers.
